On the 20th March 2009 Captain Starlight will be visiting the Hervey Bay Hospital. On this day I will be presenting him with a cheque for money raised from raffles held over several months last year. Our group will continue to run raffles and fund-raise for the Starlight Foundation in 2009. Hope you can join me.

This year International Card Day will be celebrated on October 3rd. We will be hosting an all day workshop as a fund-raiser for Starlight Foundation. All proceeds from door takings will go to this organisation.

Watercolouring on plain card.

I just love stamping on the edge of the card and cutting around the image. Watercolouring on normal cardstock does take practise. If you over brush your image it will cause pilling.

Cracked Glass Technique

This technique is very easy to do but takes sometime to complete all the layering. You need at least 4 heavy applications of clear embossing powder.

Latest Mini Catalogue is Amazing.

I get excited when a new catalogue is due. I love the Carousel Notes, Felt Fusion Flowers and the new Rub-Ons, but the Eastern Blooms Stamp Set has my vote. I must admit when I saw it I was not fussed at all but I think it is just amazing, versatile and excellent value for the money. However if you cut the triple flower block into single ones it works out at only $5.70 a stamp, wow how’s that for excellent value as always.
